Prize
Enter your film for a chance to win the Dragon Award for New Talent at the Gothenburg International Film Festival. Collect your prize at the prestigious Dragon Award Ceremony in Gothenburg.
THE JURY
The international jury will judge the winner predominantly from the "most popular" 10 short films (as voted by site visitors) at the competitions conclusion. The jury also reserve the right to choose up to 3 "wildcard" film nominations, which may not have been voted into the top 10 by site visitors.
THE EXPOSURE
The winner of the Dragon Award for New Talent can expect to gain exposure throughout the film branch after receiving this prestigious award. It is truly a step on the ladder.
The eventual winner will be invited to collect their award at the awards ceremony of the Gothenburg International Film Festival in front of a capacity crowd. This ceremony will take place on the 4th of February 2011. The prize includes flight and hotel costs.
Accepted file formats:
FILM FORMATS: AVI, MOV, FLV AND MP4. 16:9, MIN WIDTH 720 PX, MAX 10 MIN RUNTIME
IMAGE FORMATS: JPEG, PNG OR GIF. 16:9 MIN WITH 720 PX
Submission process: 
1. SUBMISSION:
You submit your film on the site
2. FILM ENCODES FOR WEB:
Kaigans supermachine encodes your movie to a H2.64 video for Flash and Mobile device.
3. USER APPROVAL OF FILM:
You get a preview of your film and your details for approval.
FILM SCREENING: Your film gets screened by the admin to make sure it doesn´t violate any rules.
5. FILM GOES LIVE:
You get an e-mail with a direct link to your movie so you can start spreading it!
